Writing Bouncy Castle Product Pages

Pages that rank and sell

Every castle, combi and slide you own deserves its own page. Parents search for specific things, such as "unicorn bouncy castle hire" or "adult bouncy castle", and a page for each product gives you more chances to be found. It also gives parents everything they need to book without picking up the phone.

Give each product a clear name

Use a name that says what it is and who it's for, for example "Unicorn Bouncy Castle with Slide" rather than just "Sparkle". Your fun product names can still go in the description. Use the same name in the page heading, page title and photo descriptions.

Write a proper description

Most hire sites have one line per castle, or the manufacturer's text copied word for word. Both are missed chances. A good description covers:

Write it yourself, in your own words. Copied text appears on dozens of other sites and won't help you stand out.

Answer the practical questions

Put the details parents ask about on every page, ideally in the same place each time:

Detail Example
Size length, width and height
Space needed including room around it and access through gates
Power mains or generator, and how far from a socket
Ages and numbers who it suits and how many at once
Indoor or outdoor and ceiling height needed indoors
Price hire price, or a "from" price

Use real photos

Show the castle set up at real jobs, from a few angles, with people for scale if you can. Compress the photos so the page loads quickly, and give each one a short description of what it shows.

Link it to the rest of your site

Link each product page to related castles and add-ons, and link to it from your town pages and occasion pages. This helps Google understand your range and helps parents find the right castle.

Frequently asked questions

I've got dozens of castles. Do they all need long descriptions?

Start with your best sellers and the ones you want to hire out more often. Every castle should have the key details, but the fuller descriptions can be built up over time.

What if I sell a castle or stop hiring it out?

Don't just delete the page. Link to a similar castle, or redirect the old page to it, so you keep any links and rankings it had built up.

Should I mention safety on product pages?

Yes, briefly. A line about safety testing, cleaning and supervision reassures parents. See my website checklist for what to include.
